Year 6 and 9 Benchmark their Skills and Knowledge with Cambridge Checkpoint Assessments.

This week, our Year 6 and 9 students have achieved an important milestone on their learning pathways: the Cambridge Checkpoint assessments.

As the name suggests, these assessments, serve as a important “checkpoint” for our students at the end of a Key Stage of learning.  They enable us to validate the learning that students are able to demonstrate against external standards, providing a benchmark for our students. As a school, we analyse the results to identify school-wide trends, evaluate our performance, and inform future learning for both individual students and entire Key Stages.

We are proud of the dedication and effort shown by our students, and we wish them all the best as they prepare for the next stage of their learning journey.
