On Friday, April 28th our proud Thames IB DP 2 students celebrated the completion of their high school coursework in style by donning caps and gowns in a grand ceremony at the Arche Hotel in Warsaw.
With the help of IB DP 1 students as hosts and volunteers, we had a fantastic evening. Both students and members of our school community delivered some wonderful speeches.
We had a special musical guest: Jazz Inspiration. Also, there was not one, but there were two highly entertaining films made by students sharing memories and sending wishes to our wonderful graduates.
The real stars, of course, were the graduates who all got a chance to walk across the stage and collect certificates, plaques and gift bags from the school.
After becoming graduates, the students were invited back to the stage by our student council co-presidents to toss their caps in their air while “We are the Champions” played in the background to make the graduation official! It was an evening to remember.
