Polish Week at Thames British School Warsaw

To mark Polish Independence Day, which we celebrated on November 11, 2024, Thames British School Warsaw organised Polish Week.

At each of our 6 campuses, we organised numerous activities for our students. From preparing and tasting delicious Polish delicacies and dishes, dancing the Polonaise, word games, and art materials, singing traditional Polish songs and pieces, dressing up in Polish costumes, to recitation competitions and an assembly, where we all sang the Polish National Anthem together.

Our international students learned a lot about Polish culture, art, history, costumes, cuisine, language, music and traditions, and this made them more open to other cultures and traditions.
