Itβs Career Day, when our students get an up-close look at different career paths and connect their learning to the real world. Mr. Damian Flisak, a distinguished lawyer and lecturer from the University of Kozminski, came to the school to give a talk to students, in which he drew upon his extensive experience to provide valuable insights about the legal profession, the path to becoming a lawyer, and the pros and cons of this career.
Asides from career guidance, Mr. Flisak also shared his expertise in AI and copyright law, adding a unique and contemporary angle to the discussion, and offering our students insights into the evolving intersection of technology and law.
He went into detail on topics such as AI technology role in the legal field, the importance of understanding and avoiding plagiarism, and the consequences of such actions, giving the students invaluable guidance on what behaviours to adopt and avoid to ensure a respectful and safe environment.
