On April 29th, we had the opportunity to say goodbye to our IB DP senior students, the graduating class of 2022. We felt honoured to host special guests, including Thames British School administration, parents, staff members and students.
The event was opened by our Head of School, Miss Aldona Ponikowska. In her speech, she wished the students success in their future lives and careers, just as many other speakers did during this ceremony. There was a short movie presented, made by the graduating class, in which they included many memories that they made together throughout the years.
While all of the speeches were touching, Divit’s and Ewa’s got to the hearts of all of their peers. We could see how sad they were to be leaving all of this behind. Lastly, the awards and certificates were handed in, which finalized the two years of hard work in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
The ceremony ended with a symbolic tossing of graduation caps and group photos capturing the moment which our Class of 2022 will hold in their memories forever.
