Last week, across Thames British School Warsaw Campuses, our students came together to mark Anti-Bullying Week, under the inspiring theme “Power for Good.”

We focused on:
– Encouraging every student to reflect on how their own actions — big or small — can be a force for kindness.
– Empowering bystanders to safely step in, show support, and help create a culture where inclusion and respect lead the way.
– Teaching practical strategies: how to report bullying, how to support peers, and how to use empathy in everyday interactions.

Across our campuses, we organised:
– Assemblies & discussions exploring what “power” means and how using it positively can change our school culture.
– Odd Socks Day on Tuesday – a colourful celebration of our individuality and the message that everyone matters.
– Workshops and team activities tailored to different age groups, including role-plays and peer-led conversations on kindness and empathy.
– Wellbeing check-ins, giving students a safe space to speak, reflect, and ask for help.

A special thank you to Miss Jo Monowid, our school psychologist, for creating and leading this initiative across our Primary and Lower Secondary campuses. Her dedication ensured the programme was meaningful, student-centred and impactful.
