Ochota Campus
Our Ochota Campus is a stately building that houses a Thames British School Warsaw Primary School and accepts pupils aged 5 to 11. Children follow the Cambridge curriculum, culminating with the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint tests.
The campus is a wonderful learning space located within easy reach of the city centre of Warsaw. At the same time, the campus feels quite serene due to its location opposite a park and cushioned by trees and bushes which hide it away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
A word from inside Ochota Campus at Thames British School:
Klaudia Szklarczyk, National Head Teacher at Ochota Campus: “Despite being in the city centre, we have lots of outdoor space. We get the children to spend a lot of time outside, negotiating and playing together, which builds up their language and their collaboration. We build the skills, knowledge and understanding through their own research. At the end of our learning, we have a learning success day when the children get the opportunity to present what they have done to their parents and explain it in their own terms. All of these things go together to make a real home-school community”.
Mokotów Primary Campus
Our Mokotów Primary Campus is located in a detached building in a calm, picturesque location right next to a park. It is home to a Thames Pre-School and Primary School and accepts pupils aged 2.5 to 11. As in Ochota, children follow the Cambridge curriculum, culminating with the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint tests.
A word from inside Mokotów Primary Campus at Thames British School:
Louise Ferrier, Teacher at Mokotów Primary Campus: “I love this campus because it is so close to Pole Mokotowskie Park, so it is totally in touch with nature. We have a really friendly atmosphere. It is a lovely environment for learning English, and the children build friendships through this in a really natural way”.
Katarzyna Kurzac, National Head at Mokotów Primary Campus: “The main thing I want to achieve in every class is to make the children feel safe and give them a caring and warm environment. We are a family, we all started here together, we started with the children so we all feel as if we are pulling towards one aim, one team”.
