Moving from Lower Secondary into High School is an exciting milestone, and at Thames British School Warsaw we support families every step of the way. Our Transition Programme helps students understand expectations, explore subject choices, and build confidence through taster lessons and meaningful conversations.
On 5 December, our Year 9 students visited Mokotów High School Campus for their Transition Day.
They explored High School life through:
- – An introduction to expectations and routines.
- – Taster lessons in selected subjects.
- – “Speed-dating” style meetings with teachers to learn about teaching approaches and what they will learn.
Students also learned about the world-renowned IGCSE programme offered by Thames British School Warsaw – Mokotów High School Campus, and discovered new subjects such as Global Perspectives — and they loved the experience!
The day concluded with a Parent Coffee Morning, giving families a relaxed opportunity to ask questions, meet the leadership team, and learn about the next steps in the journey to High School.
