If we want teachers to create engaging, student-centred learning, they need to experience the same in their own professional learning.
This week, our teachers took the students’ seats in a session led by Dr Daniela Vasile, our Director of Learning. Through discussion, challenge, reflection and collaboration, they co-constructed what good teaching looks like at Thames British School Warsaw. We are a truly international community, with a shared understanding of what excellent learning looks like.
Good professional learning should feel a little like a great lesson: people thinking, questioning, contributing, sometimes disagreeing, and leaving ready to do something differently tomorrow.
At Thames British School Warsaw, this is how we continue building a school where every child can belong, grow and become extraordinary.
